General Discussion Committee on Decent Work and the Care Economy

The Committee met from Monday 3 to Wednesday 12 June 2024 in Room XVII at the Palais des Nations.

The Plan of work of the Committee (see ILC.112/CDG/D.1 below) was composed of three segments:

• 3-4 June: General discussion in plenary of Committee based on Report VI – Decent work and the care economy and on the Points for discussion (see below "Reports submitted to the Conference").
• 6-7 June: Preparation of the draft outcome document (Conclusions) of the Committee by the Drafting group.
• 10-12 June: Discussion of amendments to the draft conclusions in plenary of Committee.

At its final sitting, the Committee is adopt a resolution and conclusions that were submitted to the plenary of the Conference for adoption on Friday 14 June.
